SteelSeries is a Danish gaming peripherals maker founded in 2001 by Jacob Wolff-Petersen, originally as the mousepad company Icemat and renamed SteelSeries in 2007. Its Arctis headsets, Apex keyboards and Rival mice are staples of esports, and its audio work extends into software through the Sonar suite built on the Nahimic technology it acquired in 2020. It has been a subsidiary of Danish hearing and audio group GN Store Nord since January 2022.
