Intuitive Instruments is a small French instrument maker, formerly known as Dualo, built around a note layout the musician and mathematician Jules Hotrique devised between 2005 and 2007 so that notes which sound good together sit side by side. With Bruno Verbrugghe, who joined him in 2010, he turned it into the dualo du-touch, a self-contained electronic instrument; its successor, the Exquis, splits that idea into an MPE controller with hexagonal keys and a companion app.
