Both rigs put the presence lift early: +2 dB at 1 kHz, +6.2 dB at 1.5 kHz, peaking near +9 dB at 2.0–2.2 kHz relative to 500 Hz — roughly half an octave below the ear-gain peak of the Harman IE target. That early rise is why vocals read as pushed forward.
Sub-bass first, mid-bass tame. Sources agree the low end goes deep and stays clean out of the midrange; they differ on whether the restrained mid-bass reads as tasteful or as simply not enough, and the reports that call it thin tend to be the ones fighting the seal.

A gentle shelf rather than a wall: about +7.7 dB at 50 Hz and +4.4 dB at 100 Hz over 500 Hz, back to flat by roughly 300 Hz. On one rig the two channels differ by 4.2 dB at 20 Hz — sub-bass here is unusually sensitive to how well the tip seals.
Sources split. One group hears a clean, airy top with no sibilance to speak of; a larger group hears enough brightness to tire them out over a long session, or occasional sibilance on vocal-heavy tracks. Amazon's own topic breakdown lands in the same place — sound quality is the only topic it flags as mixed, at 17 positive mentions against 10 negative.

Both rigs show the same shape: a dip through 5–6 kHz (about +4.4 dB over 500 Hz at 6 kHz, down from +8 dB at 4 kHz), then a sharp peak at roughly 8 kHz, then a drop away above 10 kHz.
