The point of the set, and its most-liked trait. A huge, physical sub-bass (the measured shelf runs ~+12 dB; ZiiGaat claims ~15 dB, and a couple of listeners hear it even louder) with good texture and speed that stays mostly clear of the mids — 'boomy without being bloated' is the recurring line. The only real dissent is quantity: the critical view is that it blooms and can drown the mids on some tracks. Seal and tips move it.

The measured shape is a ~+12 dB sub-bass shelf at 20 Hz on Acho's rig, tapering cleanly to a slightly-lean lower midrange (about −1.4 dB at 500 Hz) — a lot of sub-bass with a mid-bass that stays out of the way, which reconciles the split (big, physical rumble that mostly doesn't muddy the mids, but plenty enough to bloom on bass-heavy tracks). ZiiGaat advertises ~15 dB of sub-bass; Audiophile-Heaven heard '15-16 dB.'
Agreed as a fact, split on taste. The midrange steps back to make room for the bass and presence — this is unanimous — so male vocals in particular get subdued. Where it splits is whether that's fine or a flaw: female vocals are widely praised as sweet, vivid and 'almost angelic,' while the critical read is that the bass simply drowns the mids on some tracks. Not a vocal-first set, by design.

The second fault line. Everyone hears an energetic, extended top — the disagreement is how it lands. One camp hears clean, well-extended sparkle that never fatigues (and Acho, on wide-bore tips, hears it outright smooth, with reduced sibilance), a highlight rather than a hazard. The other finds it piercy or sibilant, especially at higher volume or on already-bright tracks. The split tracks tips, listening level and treble sensitivity — a wide-bore tip and moderate volume push it toward the first camp.

Acho's rig shows a strong presence region (~+7–8 dB at 2.5–5 kHz vs 1 kHz) with a dip near 6 kHz and present-but-not-huge 7–8 kHz energy, rolling off above ~12 kHz. That elevated presence plus the 7–8 kHz energy is the objective root of the 'sparkle' some love and the 'piercy/sibilant' others flag, while the 6 kHz dip and a wide-bore tip (as Acho used) can tame it — which is why the same treble reads as 'sharp,' 'fatiguing,' or 'smooth' depending on tips and volume.

Punchy and lively, in keeping with the tuning — a wide, uncompressed feel with fast, snappy transients up top. The temper is that the big dynamic-driver bass is a touch slower and looser than the BA mids and treble, so the speed isn't uniform across the range.

Mostly comfortable — light, glossy resin shells that seal well and many wear for hours — but with two real caveats. The shell and bore run large and the fit is medium-deep, so small ears can struggle, and reviewers disagree on driver flex: one calls it a non-issue, another calls 'too much driver flex' his biggest complaint. It's also very tip-dependent, so a good third-party tip is close to mandatory.
