The housing is admired without exception — machined stainless steel, mirror-finished, solid for the money. The cable is the fight. It is thin, permanently attached and has no strain relief where it enters the earpiece, which most sources treat as the set's real liability; a minority who have lived with theirs for years report it holding up fine. One reviewer also found audible left/right treble imbalance in his unit.
