E-MU (E-MU Systems) is a music-technology brand that helped pioneer digital samplers and synthesizers after its 1971 founding in the United States, and has been owned since the 1990s by Singapore's Creative Technology. Under Creative it also produces a small line of wooden closed-back headphones — such as the Teak and Ebony — built on Foster's biodynamic driver platform and sold largely direct.
