CME is a digital-musical-instrument brand that began in 1993 as Central Music Company in Beijing, founded by Zhao Yitian and partners, and was spun out in July 2012 as CME Pte. Ltd. in Singapore to carry the brand's mobile product line worldwide. It is best known for the ultra-slim Xkey MIDI keyboards with polyphonic aftertouch (2013) and their Bluetooth Xkey Air siblings; in 2024 the Xkey portfolio passed to Germany's ESI Audiotechnik, and CME now concentrates on its WIDI wireless-MIDI and USB MIDI host interfaces.
